In 1993, a young and driven Chuck Mathes came on board as project manager. Over the next decade-plus, he became the backbone of daily operations.

Ownership transitioned to Roger Stuber in 2007 and the company continued to grow its reputation across Tazewell and Peoria counties. Chuck remained at the helm of projects, bringing consistency and craftsmanship

In 2020, Chuck Mathes purchased the business he'd helped build for nearly 30 years. Renamed Mathes Construction, the company entered a new chapter.
